Extra delivery capacity for builders merchants, when your own fleet is full.
Timber, boards, doors, sanitaryware and boxed materials, taken from your yard to site by a driver who photographs every drop. Book a single run or a van for the week.
Who it's for
- Builders merchant branches
- Timber and sheet material yards
- Plumbing and heating merchants
- Trade counters with no van of their own
The problem
The busy days are the days you can't deliver
Monday morning, a big site order, two drivers off. Customers hear 'tomorrow' and take the order down the road. Turning work away because the yard is short of a van is the most expensive kind of lost sale.
How DropNPickUp helps
A van on call, without another one on the books
Book us job by job when a customer needs it, or take a van and driver for the days you know will be busy. Drivers carry PPE, follow site unloading rules, hand over to a named person and photograph the drop. Everything goes on one monthly invoice per branch.
What we carry
- Doors, frames and boxed joinery
- Plasterboard and sheet materials in van loads
- Sanitaryware, radiators and boilers
- Bagged and boxed materials up to a van's payload
- Tools and plant small enough for a van
We run vans, not lorries: if it fits a long-wheelbase or Luton van and one or two people can carry it, it’s our work. See all trade accounts.

What a trade account gives you
A login for every branch
Head office sees every branch. Each branch manager books and tracks their own work, and finance sees the invoices.
Your PO number on every booking
Add a PO and cost centre when you book, so the invoice matches what your accounts team expects to see.
One invoice per branch, monthly
Each branch gets a monthly invoice listing every job, or one per PO if that suits your buying process better.
Pay on account
Payment terms with a credit limit for the business and, if you want, for each branch. No card at the counter.
Proof you can show a customer
Photos at collection and at the drop, a named recipient, and live tracking your branch can share.
A report per branch
Jobs booked, filled and delivered on time, branch by branch, so you can see what the service is doing for you.
Builders merchants: common questions
Do you carry pallets and HIAB loads?
We run vans, not lorries, so no crane offloads and no full-size pallets on a tail lift. What fits a long-wheelbase or Luton van and can be carried by one or two people is our work. Bigger loads stay with your own fleet or a haulier.
Can drivers unload on a live construction site?
Yes. Drivers wear PPE, follow the site's unloading rules, hand over to a named recipient and photograph every drop. Put gate times and site contacts in the booking so nobody is turned away at the gate.
Can we book a van for the same days every week?
Yes. A standing weekly booking puts a van and driver at your branch on the days you choose, for as many weeks as you set. You can end a standing booking from the branch account.
Can we put our PO number on each delivery?
Yes. A PO and cost centre can go on every booking, or one PO can cover a branch for the month. The monthly invoice lists each job against its PO.
21 cities and the towns around them, plus our home base in St Neots. We bring the van and driver to your branch.
